MCAN has tragically lost one of our own, Daniel LaCroix, in an accident last night. To say that Daniel was an incredible man of God would be to understate his passion, integrity, fortitude, unwavering-faith, and beautiful heart for worship. During our missions trip last week in Moldova, the team was able to hear Daniel speak multiple times on his deeper level of intimacy with God in these past few months. Today, we know he is experiencing the deepest of that intimacy as he stands before the love of his life, Jesus Christ. Thank you all for your prayers as our team misses and mourns the loss of our dear friend, brother, and student.
Daniel's European memorial service will be hosted by his MCAN family this Sunday at 10:30 here in Amsterdam at Pinkstergemeente Agape Church 58 Kometensingel
MCAN has returned from Rome, where we all had the privilege to attend the Masters Commission Europe 2012. As well as being able to see and experience and incredible city each and every one of use got to experience something even more incredibly, the presence of God. Here are a few testimonies from the week.
I’m going to tell about something in particular that God has done in me from the first flight to Rome till the last flight back to Amsterdam. I was reading the book “Soulprint” and God revealed me a lot of things about my past and my identity. During the conference, we had a workshop about the Spirit and Prophesy with a moment to practice this ability we have all received. Personally, I was with 3 girls from CIJEM and we were able to encourage each other with what we felt the Spirit wanted to say. A girl really talked specifically about what I was struggling, even though she didn’t know me at all and it was a confirmation of God telling me that He is by my side whatever I’m going through, he wants to free me completely and restore me entirely. I was really encouraged not only by what I received but also by what I could give. It encourages me to live really by the Spirit and not to be afraid to go out and share this love we have received. Because actually God is constantly speaking to us by the Spirit but we need to recognize his whisper in our lives. I really want to thank God for being present in each step in my life and for being at my side.

The conference started Wednesday evening, so in the evening everyone came almost all at the same time, we had dinner and after Jeremy DeWeerdt did the kick-off. I loved the first night because the atmosphere was awesome. You could really feel that we were with people who all dedicated there life to God and that was really great!
The rest two days stayed that way, God was moving all around and He touched all single one of us. I expected a lot from God and He went over it, like He always does. He answered my prayer, like He promised and gave me ever more energy and excitement! And I know that He did not only did that for me! It was a blessing to experience so many Master’s students together! I loved to meet new friends and also the atmosphere during the conference!
Even though we were tired after it was really too short. But I look forward for next year, when it is in Brussels! Bring it on!

First few days in the US of A..
Arrived at a time where everyone was preparing for a conference called Genesis. So Since day one I was working on stuff like hanging up banners, moving chairs etc. This was all really fun, especially when your jet-lagged. But on friday the conference started, and it was amazing. The worship was outstanding. There was this guy who also wrote alot of songs for Jesus Culture leading worship, and it was great. The Holy Spirit was really moving among all these young people, and so I felt really privileged to be a part of this.

I had a very good time! I loved that we were with so many girls! It was a lot of fun. There were a lot of people in a small house, but it's still a positive experience to not forget.
Personally I loved to see God working in those four days. We had been praying a lot for Encounter before it started, but I think every one will agree that God really answered our prayers. God touched their hearts, not all of the vistors have decided to come to Master's Commission, but that was not the important prayer for the Encounter, it was for them to meet God in the way they haven't. God spoke to them and worked in them. And to be a part of that, to see that, was incredible. I enjoyed the Encounter so much and I hope that we all won't forget these four days! We all made new friends and hopefully we will see each other soon!

One of the greater highlights of the weekend was when all of us split into groups and evangelized within Dam Square. Most of the people that we talked to seemed rather unaffected, but there were two young girls that were noticeably more interested in what we had to say. It was a great way to spend an hour of my day! Overall, the conversations that were held and the God-filled experiences that I was a part of were what made the program
memorable.

As well as all this MCAN is excited to have just released our promotional video for this, give it a look and maybe you'll find out what God has planned for you next year!
I love getting to travel, I didn’t move five thousand miles away from home for nothing. Getting to experience God moving in different places all over the world, but in the same way is something that I really count as a blessing, not everyone gets to do that.
After a service a woman came up to me and thanked me and encouraged me. She said she was blessed by my voice and this also touched me because this is something I sincerely want; to allow God to use me in my talent.
It was great and encouraging to just connect with other believers in Amsterdam. See them appreciating and enjoying the worship time; it really just reminded me to never take it for granted. I was as well reminded that when you do things for the glory of God, regardless of whether or not you are professional at it, God can use it to touch someone.
